Yes, anyone can say anything.

If the AFR or some other newspaper wrote a story about CBA and the stock dropped 20% you'd better believe CBA would put out a release.

This isn't a matter of long term investing, this is about whether Cettire are doing the correct thing. And whilst I don't expect a company to address every rumour that might be mentioned about them, I would expect them to say something if the share price dropped 20%

Heres the thing. It is very easy for Cettire to put out a ASX release denying any wrong doing assuming they are doing everything correctly.

Its difficult for them to do the exact same thing if they are indeed doing something "illegal" or "not above board".

So, I ask again, why no release. They had no problem giving the AFR a statement, why not one to the ASX?
