Need a VB. The funding is to get initially to 3mtpa. That is what they are starting with. They will subsequently expand. End of story.
Follow the yellow line and link it to project commencement and my earlier posts - then 2.5mtpa, now 3mtpa - and then when they will expand. The step up in the yellow line is when they expand (meaning build additional capacity in 2027 to increase nameplate to 4mtpa). Here I thought your ignorance may have been something around demand/supply but now I work out it is actually about you not understanding what how they project ramp up, initial nameplate and from there expansion nameplate will be. There is no point continuing this from my end as you need to educate yourself.
Funding is based on this basis, and I suspect by the time they decide to expand from 3mtpa to somethingelse (i.e. 4mtpa) they are likely to be able to self fund that expansion through profits, noting the amount of profits they will make will clear the debt they draw down relatively quickly and it is why the key aspect of ramp up is achieving recovery rates as that flows through to costs, and the other key is good spodumene prices - refer Post #:73137973
Have a read of the funding package in this context - essentially the money left over will not be drawn down and probably won't be drawn at all when expansion occurs - it is how the world of finance works. ASX announcement - Post #:71993320
Also banks don't give you money if they think you cannot pay btw. It is no point me responding further - you clearly don't believe what the company is saying or certainly can't interpret a DFS or graph.
Project ramp up was always fro 3mtpa first (up from 2.5mtpa) in the DFS, with subsequent expansion. They have funding to complete 3mtpa, which is what they are building now and commissioning. What don't you understand. Are you suggesting the company is lying? Money left over will be undrawn until they expand.
I will leave it at that.
