EVs sales are through the honeymoon phase and the early adopters have bought and I’m guessing most wouldn’t turn back. We have just purchased our 1st EV and kicking ourselves for not going earlier. We cannot fault our purchase and can find no negatives thus far. The vast majority of our friends are planning to buy an EV in the next years and I’d imagine this is the case throughout Australia where Carsales.com.au state that EV sales were up 161% in 2023 from 2022. Technology’s will always change and update but the world and specifically manufacturers have firmly adopted and decided on Li batteries and that’s probably in for the next decade. Is it possible that companies like Ford don’t see themselves being competitive in the EV markets
so won’t join the party. The price of EVs are coming down and ultimately this will only full demand.
