It is a difficult to see that POSCO would want to buy spodumene from SYA (situated in Quebec) when they are contracted to receive up to 315,000 tpy from their joint venture partner’s mine in the Pilbara, (PLS).
However, if they were to build a refinery in North America, SYA would then be a real chance of getting an OTA.
