Back in those halcyon days, Black Cat, Sir Robert Menzies' soubriquet was 'Pig-Iron Bob' because he it was who placed an embargo on the export of iron ore as he felt we might not have enough for our own needs! One of my very first investments in this country was to purchase call options on Hamersley Iron. My broker suggested this; I had simply no idea what he was on about, but they did quite well, from memory. Let's hope this one really brings home the bacon in spades. My investment philosophy has always been: you only have to get it really right once in a lifetime. Perhaps this is 'the one', although LTR and CHN have been multiple-baggers of late. Just how punters hung around in the former when the chairman himself said of the Albemarle bid that it was a good deal. A nod being as good as a wink to a blind man....
