I think the original writer is being honest and upfront.
ie advising us:
”Dont over expose your investment”
Whilst that saying is a matter of course, I sense that the writer is reaching out to friendly and compassionately remind us of the commercial reality.
ie. “Nothing is certain - until we see the final 20nm achievement “
