It does pay to complain. I wrote to Westpac and was going to move my 3 trading accounts. They have backtracked quickly, so I guess Westpac had lots of complaints.
We are writing to provide you with the Final Outcome to your complaint regarding our scheduled brokerage changes received on 28/03/2024.
To resolve your complaint, you have requested a review of this decision and for your brokerage to remain as it is currently.
After careful consideration of the information you have provided, and the information available in our records, we’re pleased to inform you that we are able to keep your brokerage rates as they are currently.
Westpac Share Trading takes our customers complaints seriously, so we appreciate you raising your concerns with us. Again, we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
Please be advised that this is the final outcome, and no further correspondence will be communicated regarding this complaint.
