Concerning for existing points holders = Exciting for QAN shareholders, and management if the board stays extremely generous regarding bonuses. A short term sugar hit from points being used up for less rewards will be positive for the balance sheet. Longer term it is less value again for reward points, and you would expect your points to be inflated away over time by the next similar scheme, with flights eventually less and less available again.
I think the buyback of nearly 5% of market cap by June is what the market is happy with - however lots of would be sellers have paused waiting for the extra liquidity as well I would expect.
