@ktex7 They actually only saw 5.4 million towards the BFS with the 'option' to commit more towards construction and completion in return for 2mTPA of product.
"Under the agreement, Mitsui will contribute $5.4 million towards the cost of the project’s bankable feasibility study for an option over 2 million tonnes per annum of Hawsons’ offtake.The option will have a 20-year period and will include exclusivity to sell the pellet feed product in Japan.
Carpentaria expects to complete the Hawsons BFS within 12-15 months."
This was in 2018. Unfortunately CAP/HIO never saw any further money from Mitsui or any of these other supposed offtakers with ther 57 MT worth of letters of intent.
