After a small amount of sleuthing, I am wondering... if WGX move to re-acquire it's past asset (Higgensville) just happens to have the benefit of surrounding PNR.... To be clear, I don't think PNR need any more gold from WGX assets, but... if ever there were synergies to be had, this is it...
WGX are a proven inhouse U/G miner... 1300 strong workforce.
Today they announced a merger with Karora (who's assets surround Norseman, but not exclusively of course).
Long term, Norseman could fill it's own mill and even assist with Higginsville. This would see WGX with 3 operating plants in the Murchison and 3 plants to the South of Kalgoorlie. Just seems to 'fit'. It would eventually create a 500k-700k p.a producer.
Just some idle speculation of course.
