So if Ioneer were not around, the buckwheat species would not have even be listed as critically endangered. Not only that, there is zero evidence that the 'Center for Biological Diversity' or any other group had any plans to protect the species, by cultivating, creating seed banks, finding new habitat, etc. All of which Ioneer are doing. Why cant they embrace the funding Ioneer have and will continue to provide for the greater good? Seriously, they are lucky to have a party who is committing to saving the buckwheat. I can imagine a world not so long ago where big business would just pay someone on the side to crop dust the whole area! Maybe I've watched too many movies lol.
What's the current timeline for approval looking like? Anyone have any insights/theories? I thought we would be there by now.
