you are right. I misunderstood it previously. 500ktpa goes in, waste and base oil product comes out, then 30% bitumen yield is derived from the base oil. it also means $/t is more like $320 not $450 and resource is value is more like $9b not $13b
and yes, it has just taken so long but I think we are only a few weeks away from a new MRE
