    This was possibly done to buy easy access to Crusader-Templar. If you own the land you can drive right on through.

    It could be as simple as that. $12mil is not a lot of money for NST.

    And the added bonus of a little bit of gold in the ground to put some cream on the cake. The land paid for itself.
