That and when you own, no one can boot you out (unless you dont make your repayments of course). Nothing beats owning a home, and the enjoyment out of being able to make a place truely your own. Perth might have stagnated, but I dont see it dropping in my humble opinion.
Ive been renting since March, and we are building our new home to be finished in Feb next year. Having come from home ownership for the last 7 years to renting, the emotional affects far outweight any gamble on the property market. Essientally, there's no place like home.
