but like any obstinate fool, the Hamas leadership will refuse to do so until their aims are achieved.

another way to free the hostages would be achieved if Israel declares a ceasefire and begins true negotiations with Hamas. such a move would disempower Hamas and leave them no alternative than to release the hostages.

it might even help Netanyahu keep his job.
