Thanks for taking the time to detail all that, it's really helpful.

I didn't hold AMA back then, and I don't hold it now - so my knowledge of all this isn't what it might otherwise be. Some very quick searching and reading hasn't thrown up anything to contradict what you've said re AMA locking in three year pricing with Suncorp in April 2020 but failing to expressly disclose that three year term. Maybe there's something actionable there for holders / buyers of the stock from April 2020 till it was disclosed, but I don't know enough to form a firm view. But even if there was something in it, that claim wouldn't come close to (nor even be at all referable to) the $400m Capital Smart purchase price.

As for "fraud" or "unconscionability", or any other complaint about the April 2020 decision itself, that's a huge stretch. Without proof of some underlying conspiracy, the business judgment rule (http://www5.austlii.edu.au/au/legis/cth/num_act/ca2001172/s180.html) will ensure that no liability attaches to those who made that decision. April 2020 was a wild time, and a lot of decisions that in retrospect were poor were made then with the best of intentions (and without any negligence or breach of duty).
