I think the environmental approval process has increased in complexity over the last decade / even more so recently.
More layers of consultation and processes to be conducted and stricter measures for new projects.
That being said whilst it is frustrating at least this project is going forward as many other industries in mining are struggling to obtain permits and are not going ahead.
Good to see some progress and updates via LinkedIn although what we all want to see is those ponds getting filled!
