    There is definitely another way you lose and its doing exactly what you are suggesting - hold.

    Number 1,2,3 Rules. Preserve Capital. Patience does not supersede them.

    One poor decision to hold, can wipe out any gains in the portfolio.

    That isn't a laughing matter.
