Negative aspects do pass beyond death, it is called karma, this can be negative things a person has done or negative things that has happened to a soul.
It is the souls purpose to keep clearing past incarnations karma over future incarnations to the point that the soul is at a balanced vibration and has been able to clear past negative actions and experiences, so as to be able to get back to the light and with oneness, as co creators with prime creator.
In saying all that, those who are able to forgive themselves clear past karma and raise there vibration, will be able to receive the prime creator light to heal themselves and become co creators while still in the physical form, like what Jesus was able to do.
