Over the same period the NASDAQ went up 52% & LNAS 74%, so the actual gearing impact was approx 112.6% nowhere near the theoretical 225%.

Just goes to show you have to be really careful with ETFs even when the market is with you.

Yes you are correct ..ETFs great for the ETF owners ..certainly not a long term hold ...
