Just had another look at the $300m ( 50% BPT) additional estimate for remedial works at Waitsia Stage 2. I think if the workers were offered a fixed priced contract, the job will be done in three months. These includes allowances for some more defects that are yet to be found.
Still believe the estimated 6 months delay is over the top.
