One can only hope that the IMU directors have learnt their lessons from the disappointing Merial licencing deal. After giving all manner of rights to Novartis, it wouldn't be an excellent deal at all if there are no milestones, timelines and exit clauses that can be enforced onto N. We don't want a return to another Merial-type disadvantage.
