Not hindsight but yes I do believe AP held Sonangol to that contract and the reason is that was his choice which he has publically stated so its not my narrative. As to Zapato the well, not the timing, Alexeii has done an in depth analysis of the results to date. Id like to see the positives he believes exist.
As to the decision itself I was implacably opposed at the time and still am, you came later. Yes in hindsight I and others were right but that isnt relevant, also I think it remains relevant to context now in relation to ongoing contractual negotiations etc. It is ironic to see Alexii give a work schedule that he would like to see from AP who self describes as obstinate. Good luck with that, which relates to the core of the Zapato decision IMO and that also is very relevant today. He doesnt listen to Erroll, shareholders or anybody else. I would like an explanation for the 2 cores in Alameda reservoir, wouldnt you? I will continue to raise the Zapato decision wherever it is relevant to the topic at hand.. It is not an obsession of mine I believe it is relevant to a lot of current issues, including the SP.
