The EU $50B over 4 years is not enough to pay for all the pension, welfare, hospital and military needs of Ukraine.
With the US election coming up, it will be hard for their Congress to send new money to Ukraine; their own constituents will be asking why they are helping Ukrainian with social welfare and hospital needs, when average US citizen struggle to survive and can't pay for hospital care.
I can see the election slogan already "American first"
So the EU will probably bend the rule and allow the $50B to be paid in one year. That might keep the Ukrainian going for 6 months.
After that, the money pot will be empty.
Maybe they will grab the $300B in frozen assets. Of course, that will have its own financial consequences for both EU and US economies.
