Aircraft - attributed to the Wright brothers but there are documented flights before their Kittyhawk success including one near Milton in NZ.
TV - John Logie Beard, a Scotsman invented TV.
The internet I will allow as a tick for the US. The others are/were from the US & may have a little to do with the US being in decline. Hollywood, Alice Cooper, Elvis are well past their haydays & if 'they' have to rely on Eminen then the End is indeed very near.
