I sort of disagree. When they start a trial, they have an estimated start date and an estimated end date. These dates have also been extended at times and hey, no problem, just let us know the reason they've been extended i.e. still recruiting patients etc. Surely if they start the trial and know how many doses they are going to give and then estimate when those results should be showing some signs, then just let shareholders know. Even if they think they can get a result in 3 months but to be conservative, tell us 6 months, I'm fine with that.
Right now, we're guessing at every conference that 'This is the one!' and when it doesn't happen, sure we're disappointed. To help alleviate that, don't make us guess anymore.
