The OTA PLL have with SYA is only the first prong of the arrangement. They still have selling obligations to 3rd parties which they would be making next to no profit at these prices.
PLL's OTA's with Tesla and LG have a market based formula at the time of shipment which are more or less standard practise, have expiry dates and limited to 113,000tpa in total untill a refinery is built when they cease.
At current prices not much money is being made by either party and if we had an OTA for our unallocated spod it would also have a market based formula at the time of each shipment. At the moment both parties sell into the spot market with PLL about to start shipments into the OTA contracts.
