It appears that Ecocan pays YPB 1.0c per ProtectCode. Under the contract Ecocan is required to take a minimum quantity of 2m codes in year 1, and 5m codes in each of year 2 and 3. That's 12m codes, which at 1.0c means the contract is worth $120k over 3 years.
There is no initial down payment and thus Ecocan has 'no skin in the game' to drive them to make it a commercial success.
