Interesting viewpoints from a few LTHs about the remunerations for directors. Good to see some familiar names still hanging in there with the belief that we are onto a winner albeit a bit longer than most of us had thought. For me 9 years has been far too long but I am hopeful things are about to change,
Whilst it is hard to criticise 'management' due to the number of partnerships, collaborations, etc I am still struggling, like many, to see what the Directors have brought to the table. Sure, most of them have a wealth of experience and combined we probably have a strong board. However, the lack of information made available to the market (ASX) about the achievements brought on by board decisions makes it hard not to see the value they are bringing to the company. The Chairmans address at the AGM should be interesting knowing in the back of his mind that a second strike could be imminent?
Until I can determine if these individuals are actually contributing to the excellent work done by management, I can only agree that the additional shares are not appropriate at this time.
