The really interesting aspect to your post was that from an article written by Maple Brown which I believe does not have a gold or resource fund nor is known as a gold investor.
Maybe this is an example of the start of general investment funds investing in gold stocks and SPR is one of two stocks they highlighted. Quite stunned by their estimated cash flow making the current SP look like a bargain.
