just wanted to add if you open your tower u will void your warranty on most brands. usually u will have to cut a sticker telling void if open.
had similar problem before, would rattle a little and shut down, come back up and be okay. turned out to be corrosion on the hard drive. signs for this is a bit of extra chater in the harddrive noise. you will often get an error message for this though on restart.
like the odds of loose or faulty ram . ggod luck.
