Isharpen, they contacted me out of the blue, and used the same microsoft story. Yes, went through the "RUN so and so" routine,,,, What do you see? Oh God, quick, turn it off.... Me:"Is is bad?" Yes, your computer is compromised..it cant last longer... Now "RUN (something else)..." what do you see? Dont click on it, whatever.....It is very bad....
I excused myself on a pretext & got a techy around (yes I was a bit concerned..) who had a quick check & a big laugh...and told me all those shocking things were normal processes.....
When they rang me a few days later I told them my computer was fine & to rack off..... Their response was :"Oh. Okay..." Click. lol. But I admit they had me worried.... Wonder how many they cought?
