It seems logical YAL would at least make a bid for a stake in BW given they were in the running for the initial bidding process. Another possibility is if Glencore considers doing a sell down for the acquisition of 77% interest in the entirety of Teck's met coal assets they're set to acquire in Q3 2024. Whether Glencore decides to offer a selldown is also pure speculation, but we do know Glencore is partners with YAL for HVO with Glencore owning 49% and YAL owning 51% interest in the joint venture. I do remember reading YAL having run the ruler over Teck's met coal division in the past from memory. Anyway it's all speculation, maybe towards the end of the year something in the met coal space becomes available for YAL to acquire.
