I was told that the company used to take orientation logs during the drilling.

I remember the geo being a bit perplexed because their orientation seemed different to the hired down hole surveyors.

Maybe something to do with the quality of the equipment that was used by the company. I am not sure.

I think a lot of the logging has become a lot better over the years though.

I never kept up with it all after about 2014.

I think the best bet for the initial drilling is pinning their hopes on some good geophysics surveys before any drilling goes ahead which I believe they did.
So all we can do is sit back and hope that those drills hit something good.
