Philip Cornish is a director and shareholder of various private and unlisted public companies involved in telecommunications, agriculture and general investments.
He founded Vodafone Australia in the early 1990?s and has been active in telecommunications over many years. He has served as a director of the Industry, Research and Development Board, the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman Council, the Austel Law Enforcement Committee and numerous other bodies.
He was instrumental in founding and listing Mobile Communications Holdings Ltd, which was sold to Vodafone in 2001, and Unwired Group Ltd, which remains listed today.
Philip was an early shareholder in UCMS and recently became a Board Member.
Philip has a Science Degree from Melbourne University, and is involved with numerous charitable organisations, including the Howard Florey Institute.
