I love playing in the vagaries of LIC land but some managers seriously seem clueless & I stay clear regardless of how big the discount is (maybe not regardless) Some mangers are way too greedy, more concerned with profiting from investors than investments, because I don’t want to be the product I run a mile from them too (Alex is rich but obviously not from stock picking)
Unfortunately because these are the only 2 outcomes investors have historically gotten from investing in Alex’s funds I don’t know why you don’t just take the lose & move on (maybe someday a holding will Stephen Bradbury but his record suggests even then somehow he’d get to any profits before they make it to long suffering TEK holders)
I’m bewildered that someones whose job it is, with all the networks, with so many resources is so demonstrably inept, yet so shamelessly fleecing his investors with unjustified fees
