I understand that argument, but would you spend 20% of your income on life insurance? I personally would not.
Life insurance is not necessary if you are already wealthy. NST is a wealthy company. EVN is a far less wealthy company than NST, with reasonably significant debt, yet Jake Klein and his fellow directors are comfortable with EVN being hedged to about 5%. I would be delighted if NST emulated that approach.
