first there is an article about a woman who was a processer of claims for refugee status
secondly I have give you example from my personal experience were I know the woman lied to get refugee status

she came here by plane
she borrowed money from her family to get into australia and went applied for an education visa and went to anu
she arrived by train in canberra with $40 in her pocket.
She then applied for refugee status and got it.
Her husband then came over with their son. the husband found it difficult to get a job and went back to china.
wow she got refugee status and he went back, get it?
the family must have been in grave danger.
She is now a millionaire living in sydney with her kid.
People don't realise how easy it is to rip off the department of immigration and she took us for fools.
No doubt the greens would support her claim though.
