The important statistic question is ; Are Australians spending less on alcohol?

If Australians are drinking less but spending more or the same, it might show some great strategy from EDV in buying the upmarket wineries that they have. It would also show some value in the commissioning of craft beers under house brands from Australia and overseas.
If Australians are drinking less and spending less, then we can expect a contraction of sales unless our market dominance carries us through to the detriment of smaller retailers.
