it was our current chairman that got 10million free shares when he was CEO at Sayona and then a month later resigned. It was an extraordinary meeting and 45% of shareholders voted against the freebies, which in my opinion indicated that they weren’t happy, it never stopped him taking them of course.
I think he then realised he didn’t have the retail vote and resigned claiming personal reasons. These guys are like politicians, they have thick skin and don’t care who they push out the way getting to the top.
I will vote against the resolution at the EGM but don’t have much faith it will work.
