    Further to your comment on the difficulty of changing Eureka Mine generators from diesel to NG, an engine technical specialist concurs;

    . . . . . do not provide solutions to modify diesel engines tobe powered by fuel gas such as NG or LPG. But it is achievable and a lot ofsuppliers for this technology can be found through internet.

    Couple of subjects I personally would like to remindbefore doing diesel engine modifications.

    Engine warranty can be a concern if your existing units are still under warranty period.

    Most of engine suppliers wouldterminate the warranty when any un-authorized modifications are found onengines.

    Electrical efficiency is not promised by retrofit kits suppliers. It means fuel consumption can be a concern after engine modification.

    Low electrical efficiency caused bypoor modification might make fuel economic in between diesel and NGmeaningless.

    Also, fuel gas might not be burnedcompletely, and greenhouse gas pollution can be occurred accordingly.

    After service supports might be also a problem. Most of retrofit kits suppliers would tell that they cover or even provide their own warranty according to their scope of supply after modifications.

    But responsibilities are difficultto be clarified when problems happened on site. Based on my experience, ittakes a real long time to clarify for problems on either engine suppliers orretrofit kits suppliers.

    Personally, I would recommend having gensets poweredby real gas engines when budget is well covered.
