Can someone explain why we have two laws pertaining to this case, civil and criminal?
Lehmann is found guilty under civil law because non consensual sex "probably" took place in Judge Lee's opinion in Linda Reynolds office.
However under criminal law the onus of proof that sex did occur, and it was non consensual has yet to be proven, and presumably can never be proven.
So he is innocent until found guilty.
Two laws - same "crime" - two verdicts?
