No need to try to convince 'em. EVs will dominate in spite of everything. As Galileo muttered under his breath when he was forced by the Pope to recant his claim that the earth revolves around the sun "eppur si muove'.
The EV revolution has started. Electricity for everything everywhere is happening. It is like a tsunami. They can choose to watch by the sidelines but it is inevitable they will be swept away.
