Our non-executive directors are paid $50,000 per annum and our non-executive chair is paid $70,000 (director fees before tax) - probably on the lower end of companies on the ASX.
If the directors collectively are contributing $250,000 to the current capital raise, then there is a good chance that some or all of our non-executive directors and chair are each contributing more than their after tax annual directors fees.
Therefore, in my opinion, their contribution is significant and I am impressed by their contribution. They are not asking shareholders to do something that they are not doing themselves. It certainly factored into my thought process when considering what I am contributing to the current capital raise.
