Russian are holidaying in Asia now, as they are banned in most of Europe and US.
I was travelling through SE Asia, during the New Year holidays and saw lots of Russian. They are partying and some are buying lots of properties there.
I don't know about the rest of Russia, but these Russian tourists were NOT short of money.
