The benefits to steel making seem significant. The csiro has been investigating charcoal from pyrolysis. See link below.
Given our graphite would meet this standard while the hydrogen can be used as a clean fuel, I think a home run is coming here. I mean, the contamination in our graphite is the other input in steel making!
