From my googling, my guess is that ACMC stands for Australia China Metal Corporation.

Whilst I think the reference to Hawsons on the law firm's website is interesting and helps show the demand and interest for Hawsons Supergrade Iron Ore, I don't think it has anything to do with the current negotiations. My reasons for this are:

    1. The reference to the due diligence on Hawsons has been on that firm's website since at least October 2023. (source - web archive dot org which is like a time machine for web pages - web dot archive dot org/web/20231022160104/https:/salernolaw.com.au/mergers-aquisitions-law/
    2. The tense of the reference is past, in that they "Acted" as opposed to are acting for.
    3. I assume that there are strict confidentiality clauses associated with the strategic investors that are currently undertaking due diligence and therefore it would not be appropriate for the law firm to disclose that on their website.

Happy to hear anyone else's thoughts from their googling of the interesting info posted by @Mas37
