Definite buying opportunity today. I have always bought the BHP dips and taken various gains along the way. SP has fallen less than I thought though, so I am waiting a bit before I look to increase. I do have a reasonable holding already and it is sitting just above my average right now. So I am a happy watcher.
I actually think I like this takeover proposal! I like the fact that they will spin off any non-core business and increase their global copper power. Copper expected to be in short supply by 2027 and prices expected to track higher. I am looking at it long term with a view to providing me with some strong divies.
