Seriously though, there is NOT a lot of profits in Rental.
Few if any I know of, would be attracted to the rental yields in properties. After expenses, there is very little left. Very few could become Rich by renting.
The prize is the long term Capital Gains.
And the reason why Governments provide such incentives (negative gearing) is because its cheaper than Government built housing.
People who complained about Landlords having it easy, really don't know what its like to risk your money in property investments - facing a difficult market; facing difficult renters; and facing rising interest rates.
Its easy to judge and project narratives. But one should try it and see for yourself.
