If the Star Casino Bell Commission of Inquiry is shut down due to the Philip Crawford Juel litigation revelations and scandal, then NAB might get away with what allegedly happened at Star, and there may be a substitute pair trade from ANZ to NAB bringing ANZ SP down.
But down in Australia, the market works slowly so the fall in the ANZ SP is unlikely to be a Humpty Dumpty fall but a fall down to $24 or $25 will probably happen given time.
ANZ may become complacent with regulation, making it high risk IMHO.
